Evaluations
Neuropsychological Evaluation
- A comprehensive assessment of how the brain processes information from the world around it. Results provide a detailed picture of someone’s thinking and learning style, including strengths and weaknesses. Recommendations based on this profile provide a road map for interventions.
- Neuropsychological evaluations are completed for many reasons, including initial evaluation of behavior or learning problems; assessment of functioning in attention disorders, dyslexia and other learning disorders, and autism spectrum disorders; and evaluation of the effects of brain injuries or other neurological conditions.
- The evaluation process includes:
- Clinical interview
- Behavioral measures completed by multiple sources
- In-depth testing
- Feedback meeting to discuss findings and recommendations
- Comprehensive written report with findings and detailed recommendations
- Consultation with school or classroom observation
ADHD evaluations
- Clinical interviews with parents and child
- Behavioral measures completed by multiple sources (e.g., parents, teachers, caregivers)
- Computerized testing of attention
- Classroom observation if needed
- Feedback meeting to discuss findings and recommendations
- Written summary of findings
Forensic Neuropsychological Evaluation
